Ross Errily Friary The medieval Franciscan friary of Ross Errily is the largest, best surviving and most imposing Franciscan Friary in Ireland.

The ring-shaped takes you out west from Clifden, through the Kingston peninsula, and back into Clifden. Cliffden Castle is a ruined manor house built by Clifden’s founder John D’Arcy c. 1810. Clifden Castle was once D’Arcy residence.
